With Madden 13 release date set for August 28, the EA Sports crew is building up anticipation by releasing in stages some player ratings. We already reported the Madden 13 quarterback ratings, then we showed you the Madden 13 running back ratings, and now we have the Madden 13 wide receiver ratings (plus tight ends). The ratings New York Jets wide receivers Santonio Holmes and Stephen Hill, as well as tight end Dustin Keller, have been revealed.

The New York Jets aren't known for their strength at the wide receiver position, but there's a lot of potential there. The Madden 13 player ratings reflect that, with Santonio Holmes and Dustin Keller the only established players at wide receiver or tight end. There are some interesting ratings, such as the speed and acceleration for Stephen Hill. He will be quite  a weapon to use on the game.

Some of the players listed have already been cut (Brian Linthicum, Scotty McKnight), but those will be cleaned up by the Madden 13 team with the first roster update. Also, for those of you interested in getting Long Snapper Tanner Purdum some touches, you get a chance to see what he brings to the table at tight end.
