Will the New York Jets score a touchdown? That seems to be the biggest concern heading into tonight's preseason game versus the Carolina panthers at MetLife Stadium, with the Jets offense displaying offensive issues unrivaled across the NFL. The Jets are the only team that hasn't scored a touchdown this preseason. With the starters expected to play into the third quarter tonight, the Jets have to believe that is about to change.

The New York Jets offense will definitely be under the microscope. What else should we be watching?

Physicality up front: This applies to both sides of the ball. The Jets have been very physical defensively, especially in their front seven, but need to bring that on offense as well. As a team trying to be a run-oriented offense that controls the ball and pounds defenses, we need to see that attitude and play style tonight in the final rehearsal for the starters.

Santonio Holmes and Jeremy Kerley: Santonio Holmes and Jeremy Kerley will finally take the field for the Jets tonight, with many hoping they can provide some kind of offensive spark, or at least force defenses to respect the threat of the pass and open some inside running lanes. The main concern should be how they look, rather than how they perform. The Jets need to know that both will be healthy going into the regular season.

Austin Howard: The Jets have to hope that Austin Howard cements himself as a possible answer at the right tackle position. There isn't much else in the way of options to explore and Wayne Hunter clearly is not the guy. The Jets must get better play at the right tackle spot. Will they?

LaRon Landry: How will he look in the third preseason game? He was flying around the field last week, will we see more of that tonight? Another solid game would go a long way towards proving he is past his injury issues.

There's certainly plenty more to keep an eye on tonight, but these are the hot-button issues for the third preseason game. Tonight will be the last chance to work out the kinks in a game situation before the regular season starts.
