New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow already has quite a resumé, with two National Championships and an NFL playoff win under his belt. The attractive force that spawned Tebowmania, Tim Tebow moves people with his play and with his words. He has almost a cult following, and he might have bigger plans beyond his football career – maybe even running for President of the United States. Could Tim Tebow be President in the future?
New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow is a noted leader, but is Tim Tebow cut out to be the President? Election season has brought about some speculation as to what Tim Tebow will do when he decides to retire from the NFL. When he was asked about running for public office, Tim Tebow said that he hasn't ruled it out. That response has sent the internet and sports shows ablaze with talk of Tim Tebow for President.
Tim Tebow is 25 years old, meaning he has at least 10 years before he can run for President of the United States (must be 35 years old). Tim Tebow still has some years in the NFL ahead of him, with his unique skill set making him a valuable commodity, whether as a quarterback, a package player or at another position. Once his NFL career comes to an end, all bets are off.
Tim Tebow would probably have a pretty good shot at being elected to a public office, whether President or Senator or any other. He has a massive following and is a genuinely likable guy. His introductory press conference with the Jets drew so many members of the media that the Jets had to hold it in their fieldhouse to accommodate the space requirements for that many people.
