New York Jets star cornerback Darrelle Revis returned to action today after suffering a concussion week one against the Buffalo Bills. Darrelle Revis missed last week's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers but returned today to reunite with the rest of the secondary and complete the dominating the unit that Jets envisioned prior to the season. Darrelle Revis ended up leaving the game with an apparent knee injury.
New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis suffered a non-contact injury to his left knee and will not return to the game against the Miami Dolphins. Darrelle Revis was able to walk off under his own power, but that doesn't rule out a possible serious knee injury that could put him out of commission for an extended period of time. As seen last week, that would be a major blow to Rex Ryan and the Jets defense.
Darrelle Revis will not return to today's game against the Miami Dolphins. Given the poor performance so far today, that news adds injury to insult. Kyle Wilson and Ellis Lankster will be leaned on to replace Darrelle Revis the rest of the game and into the future if necessary.
We will update when any new information becomes available on the status of Darrelle Revis.
